Actors: Álfrún Helga Örnólfsdóttir, Esther Thalía Casey, Guðjón Davið Karlsson, Guðjón Þorsteinn Pálmarsson, Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson and Þráinn Karlsson

THE PLAY: Dima is 19 years old. He lives in a building by the cemetary, where he steales the monuments and sells them. Tomorrow he will join the army, but tonight he has a farewell party. He is joined by his friends Slavik and Arkasha and his girlfriends Leru and Yulka. This one evening we get a strong insight into the lives of those characters, get to know their hopes and sorrows. In these terrible conditions we find the whole scale of human emotions and everyone has found their own way to survive.

THE MUSIC: I based the music on russian folk songs an balkan style. In the brave opening song it is described to us how the city and the cemetary got built and how eventually became one and finally forgotten. After that I use remains of this opening song, like the characters live in the remains of a once great city. Hope is envisioned by the ladybird the flies in the direction where luck is to be found. I tried to bring her to life with some magic that is brighter and totally different from everything else.
